Teenager Accuses Businessman of Harassment in Buenos Aires

Buenos Aires, January 28 (NA) -- One of the alleged victims of businessman Marcelo Porcel testified in a special courtroom procedure (Cámara Gesell) that the man, the father of one of his classmates from the Palermo Chico school, gave details of what was happening and quoted phrases the accused had written to him. "It was to 'go around the table' for 2,000 pesos," he explained. "We would do it and he would give us money." He then stated that there was a table in his office: "At one point, after having one or two glasses, he said, 'okay, go around the table with your pants down.'" "He touched my testicle and I felt a bit uncomfortable," he recounted and added that "Marcelo" offered them "alcohol and money for bets." He also mentioned that, uninhibited by alcohol, he would make them run around a table with their pants down in exchange for money or would give them massages without asking for permission and would touch them, putting them in situations he describes as very "uncomfortable." "In the office, he took out all the bottles and started to set up the glasses... The vodka with Fanta or 7Up, and he gave one to each of us, and well, he started to make us play the same games as before: 1,000 or 2,000 pesos to whoever drank the glass. That is, showing their butt." "He would write to me 'you have abandoned me' and 'I miss you,'" the teenager indicated, who recognized himself in two of the images found in the accused's phone, where a teenager is naked in the shower. According to what Agencia Noticias Argentinas was able to confirm, this young man's parents confirmed that it was he who appeared in those files that are part of the case file. The teenager explained that he was 13 years old in 2022, when, according to the complaint, everything began. In total, there are nine families who have denounced Porcel, in a case being investigated by the head of the National Criminal and Correctional Prosecutor's Office No. 1, Pablo Turano, and the National Criminal and Correctional Court No. 50 of Carlos Bruniard. The businessman was denounced in July 2024 for taking the teenagers to his home on Godoy Cruz street and to his office on Avenida del Libertador, in the Buenos Aires neighborhood of Retiro, where he organized "meetings and parties." There are at least ten victims, but there are nine complainant families, since two of the boys are brothers, and all are represented by Pablo Hawlena Gianotti, while the accused is defended by lawyer Roberto Rallin.
